  • Turn on your Canon printer.
  • On the control panel of your Canon printer, press and hold the Stop button.
  • Within a few seconds, the Alarm light will start to blink.
  • After the Alarm light flashes 21 times, release the Stop button and wait for the reset process to complete.

If your printer comes with a touchscreen or Menus, perform the following instructions to reset the settings.

  • Press the Setup button.
  • On the opened screen, select the Device Settings option.
  • Choose Reset settings > Reset all > Yes.
